Yeat and EsDeeKid Drop “Made It On Our Own” with Video Filmed in Drake’s Mansion
Yeat and EsDeeKid’s new collaboration has officially landed — and it’s already dominating conversations across hip-hop circles..and Kitchens.
Today sees the release of Made It On Our Own, the first track Yeat and EsDeeKid have dropped together, accompanied by a striking music video shot inside Drake’s Toronto mansion.
A First Look at A Dangerous Lyfe
The duo’s new track Made It On Our Own serves as the debut single for Yeat’s highly anticipated new album A Dangerous Lyfe (often shortened to ADL). The collaboration pairs Yeat’s signature futuristic rage energy with EsDeeKid’s raw UK underground flair, creating a transatlantic sound that’s both bold and unified.
Drake’s Mansion: The Visual Backdrop
What truly sets this release apart is the visual component. The music video — directed by Director X — was filmed entirely inside Drake’s mansion in Toronto, often referred to by fans as “The Embassy.”
The sprawling estate backdrop gives the clip a lavish, cinematic feel, with scenes that show Yeat and EsDeeKid commanding the space with swagger and charisma. Cameos from Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and famed videographer Cole Bennett also add unexpected star power to the visual.
