Lil Wayne appears to be the next major rapper entering the Fortnite universe.
Fortnite shared a new teaser featuring Wayne delivering a gaming inspired variation of his signature introduction: “Weezy F. Baby, and right now, the F is for Fortnite.”
The brief clip does not reveal the collaboration’s release date or full contents, but Wayne’s voice and appearance makes it clear that something involving the rap icon is on the way. Fortnite has yet to confirm whether the crossover will include a playable Lil Wayne skin, emotes, music, accessories or a larger in game event.

What Could the Lil Wayne Fortnite Collaboration Include?
Although the teaser keeps the details hidden, previous Fortnite artist collaborations offer several possibilities.
Lil Wayne could receive his own Icon Series outfit alongside themed cosmetics such as a back bling, pickaxe, glider or emotes built around his music and unmistakable personality. His extensive catalog also gives Fortnite plenty of potential material for Jam Tracks or other music-driven content.
Wayne is particularly well suited for a Fortnite crossover. Beyond being one of hip-hop’s most influential artists, his colorful style, memorable one liners and instantly recognizable image could translate naturally into the game.
For now, however, the teaser is the only official information available. Players should wait for Fortnite to reveal the collaboration’s specific items, pricing and release schedule.
Fortnite Continues Expanding Its Rap Roster
The Lil Wayne teaser arrives as Fortnite continues building stronger connections with hip-hop and its younger online audience.
