The Rolling Loud Movie Has Officially Hit Theaters
Rolling Loud has officially made it to the big screen. The Rolling Loud movie arrived in U.S. theaters on October 2, 2026, bringing Owen Wilson and Matt Rife into a comedy built around a festival trip that quickly goes sideways.
Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Ty Dolla $ign also make appearances. For anyone who has ever lost their friends in a festival crowd, the setup should sound familiar. This time, though, it is a dad trying to find his kid.
Owen Wilson’s Festival Trip Goes Off the Rails
Wilson plays Hank, a father hoping to reconnect with his 13-year-old son, Zion. He secretly takes him to Rolling Loud against his wife’s wishes, only for Zion to disappear inside the festival.
What was supposed to be a bonding trip turns into a search through the grounds. Hank teams up with two unlikely allies while trying to keep his wife from finding out what happened. Somewhere between finding his son and covering his tracks, he also has to deal with the fact that Zion is growing up.
Jeremy Garelick wrote and directed the film, which takes that family conflict and drops it into the middle of Rolling Loud’s crowds and festival chaos.
Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, and More Join the Cast
The artist appearances give rap fans another reason to pay attention. Alongside Wilson and Rife, the movie features Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Ty Dolla $ign. Christine Ko and Henry Winkler are also among the cast.
That mix is the immediate hook: familiar faces from comedy sharing a movie with artists fans usually see on a festival stage. Rolling Loud’s name is already enough to get rap fans looking. Putting those artists into the story gives the movie a direct connection to the audience behind the festival.
