Was Lucki Stabbed at ComplexCon?
According to TMZ’s law enforcement sources, Lucki was taking photos with fans around 4:40 p.m. when an unidentified suspect struck his face, causing a laceration. The outlet separately reported a stabbing victim and two other injured people. Its account does not establish that Lucki himself was stabbed.
That distinction matters as the footage continues to circulate. The videos have fueled stabbing claims, but AllHipHop’s follow-up also states that the nature of Lucki’s wound still needs confirmation.
Why Playboi Carti’s Name Is Being Brought Into It
Reports have linked the confrontation to people associated with Lucki and Playboi Carti. Carti also appears in footage from the scene, but his presence does not establish that he attacked Lucki or directed anyone else to do so. AllHipHop says neither claim has been verified.
The incident has brought their 2024 social media dispute back into the conversation. At the time, Carti interpreted a post from Lucki as a shot at him, while Lucki maintained that it was not directed at Carti. That history does not establish what caused Saturday’s confrontation.
Update on Lucki’s Condition
There is an encouraging update on Lucki following the incident. In an October 4 report, AllHipHop cited sources close to the rapper who said he was recovering and doing fine. A detailed medical account of his injuries was not provided.
TMZ reports that LAPD is investigating the incident as attempted murder. No arrests had been made at the time of its update.
For now, the reported recovery update is welcome news after the disturbing footage from Saturday. Questions remain about who caused Lucki’s injury and what started the confrontation.
