Kanye West Announces Yeezy YS-02 Slides Release
Ye (formerly Kanye West) is preparing another footwear release under his independent Yeezy umbrella. The brand is set to launch the Yeezy YS-02 slides this Friday, May 8, continuing the steady rollout of new products since Yeezy returned to direct-to-consumer sales.
The new slides will be available through the official Yeezy web store here.
Unlike many Yeezy releases in the past that required raffles or long waiting periods, this drop appears to be a straightforward online release.
Yeezy Shipping Promises Faster Delivery
One of the most notable details for the drop is the shipping timeline.
According to the Yeezy product page, orders for the YS-02 slides are advertised to ship within 1–3 business days. That’s significantly faster than some previous Yeezy direct-to-consumer releases, which occasionally came with extended fulfillment times. If you’re anything like us, you have likely waited for longer than the advertised Yeezy shipping times, so the 1-3 business days is a huge improvement.
If the timeline holds, fans could receive their pairs within days of ordering.
More Changes To The Yeezy Website
It was just last week that Ye previewed and released (very briefly) another new Yeezy footwear model, dubbed the Yeezy AQ-01’s or Yeezy Aquas and they too were advertised as shipping within 1-3 business days.

Ye’s new Yeezy YS-02 slides follow the brand’s well-known minimalist design philosophy. The silhouette continues the comfortable slip-on aesthetic that helped make Yeezy slides a staple in streetwear and casual footwear, this time highlighting a more bulbous design over the top of the foot.
