EsDeeKid Releases ‘RockWave’ With Official Music Video
EsDeeKid has officially delivered his latest single, RockWave, giving fans one of his most anticipated releases of the year. The Liverpool rapper dropped the song today alongside an official music video, marking his first solo release since appearing on Yeat’s “Made It on Our Own” earlier this year.
The record had already built significant hype after EsDeeKid previewed it during his standout Rolling Loud performance last month. Fans quickly gravitated toward the unreleased track, making RockWave one of the most talked-about moments from his festival set.
RockWave Continues EsDeeKid’s Dark, Aggressive Sound
Produced by Bhristo, “RockWave” leans into distorted guitars, heavy bass, and an ominous atmosphere that perfectly complements EsDeeKid’s gritty delivery. Rather than chasing commercial trends, the record doubles down on the raw energy that’s helped establish him as one of the UK’s fastest-rising underground artists.
The aggressive production allows EsDeeKid’s unmistakable Liverpool accent and relentless flow to take center stage, resulting in a track that feels both chaotic and cinematic.
The RockWave Music Video Matches the Song’s Intensity
The official music video, directed by Archie Erskine, continues the medieval-inspired aesthetic EsDeeKid has embraced throughout recent releases.
The visual features the masked rapper once again wielding his signature sword while wearing chainmail armor, expanding on the imagery first introduced in his “Omens” era. Throughout the video, EsDeeKid tears through the set with explosive performances—including smashing a guitar—creating visuals that match the song’s dark, aggressive tone.
