Travis Scott Brings New Heat to The Odyssey Premiere
Travis Scott has done it again.
While attending the New York premiere of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, the Houston rapper quietly unveiled what appears to be his next collaboration with Nike, and sneakerheads immediately noticed.
The internet lit up after photos surfaced of La Flame wearing an unreleased Nike silhouette that blends vintage running aesthetics with the unmistakable Cactus Jack design language. The debut wasn’t accompanied by any announcement, campaign, or teaser. Travis simply showed up wearing them, letting the sneakers do all the talking.
A Modern Take on Nike’s Legendary Moon Shoe
Although Nike hasn’t officially revealed the model’s name, the sneaker closely resembles the iconic Nike Moon Shoe—one of the most important silhouettes in the brand’s history.
Originally created by Nike cofounder Bill Bowerman for runners competing in the 1972 Olympic Trials, the Moon Shoe earned legendary status thanks to its handcrafted waffle outsole and extremely limited production. The silhouette recently returned through a collaboration with Jacquemus, reintroducing the historic design to a new generation of sneaker fans.
Travis Scott’s version appears to push the concept even further. It’s familiar enough to reference Nike’s roots, yet unmistakably Cactus Jack.

Travis Scott Continues to Reinvent Nike Classics
One reason Travis Scott remains Nike’s biggest collaborator is his ability to breathe new life into forgotten silhouettes.
Rather than relying solely on Air Jordan 1s or Air Force 1s, Scott has consistently revived overlooked Nike models, including the Air Trainer 1 and Mac Attack before making them highly sought-after releases.
This latest project looks poised to continue that trend.
Instead of introducing another bulky lifestyle sneaker, Travis appears to be leaning into vintage performance footwear, a direction that aligns with the growing popularity of retro runners throughout 2026.

As expected, neither Nike nor Travis Scott has confirmed release details.
There’s currently no official name, release date, or pricing information attached to the sneaker. Whether it becomes a full retail release, a friends and family exclusive, or simply a one off sample remains unknown.
Knowing Travis Scott’s history with Nike, however, simply wearing an unreleased pair in public usually marks the beginning of a much larger rollout.
