Ken Carson’s Orlando Concert Abruptly Ends Before Restarting

Ken Carson’s Orlando concert was halted Saturday night after fans reportedly breached a barricade near the beginning of his performance.

Videos circulating across X and TikTok appear to show part of the barricade giving way as members of the crowd surged forward at the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. According to multiple attendees, the disruption occurred after Carson performed his opening song, “deaf note.”

The performance remained suspended for nearly two hours before Carson returned shortly before midnight and delivered approximately 30 more minutes of music.

Fans Break Through Barricade at Ken Carson’s Orlando Concert

Footage shared from the concert shows a large group of attendees moving beyond the barricade separating sections of the audience. Security personnel can be seen responding as the situation unfolds.

Carson’s performance was subsequently stopped for nearly two hours as staff tended to the barricades, and attendees remained inside the outdoor venue for a period of time without a clear indication of whether the show would continue. One fan posting from inside the crowd said the concert had not restarted and called for the event to be canceled and refunded.

The Orlando date was part of Carson’s Xperimenting Tour and was scheduled for September 12 at the outdoor amphitheater. The night’s announced lineup also included xaviersobased, Prettifun and DJ Moon.

Ken Carson Returns for a Shortened 30 Minute Set

According to multiple accounts shared by concertgoers, Carson performed his song “deaf note” before the interruption brought the headlining portion of the night to an abrupt end.  Ken would later return before midnight to finish with around 30 minutes of music.

Social media quickly filled with reactions from disappointed attendees. Some criticized those who forced their way through the barricade, while others questioned whether the venue had adequate barriers and security measures in place. Fans also shared videos showing tightly packed conditions near the barricade. One attendee commenting on The Kitchen’s TikTok said concertgoers waited  nearly two hours before Ken would return to the stage.

Regardless of where responsibility ultimately falls, the breach created a situation in which organizers apparently determined that the concert could not safely continue at the time.

Will Fans Receive Refunds?

It is not yet clear whether ticketholders will receive full or partial refunds for the shortened performance.

As of publication, neither Ken Carson nor the concert’s organizers have publicly announced a refund policy for the Orlando date. Fans should retain their tickets and purchase confirmations while monitoring the original point of purchase for an official update.

The event was promoted through Live Nation, with tickets sold through Ticketmaster. Refunds are typically determined by whether an event is officially classified as canceled, postponed or completed, making a statement from the promoter particularly important in this case.

Ken Carson is currently scheduled to continue the Xperimenting Tour in Atlanta on September 13. There has been no indication that the Orlando incident will affect the remaining dates.

The Kitchen will update this story if Carson’s team, Live Nation or the Orlando Amphitheater releases additional information about refunds or the decision to end the concert.
