“Warhorse” Gives Fans Another Look at Pirouette
2hollis has released a new single “Warhorse,” giving fans another piece of his next album, Pirouette. The song arrived Friday, September 25, just days after he revealed the project and its hand drawn cover art. Pirouette is scheduled for November 11 through Interscope Records.
The release changes the conversation around the album. Fans now have a new track to sit with while waiting to hear how the full project comes together. Apple Music lists “Warhorse” on the upcoming 16 song tracklist alongside the previously released “Sex.”
Yoshitaka Amano Created the Pirouette Cover
The album’s artwork comes from legendary Japanese artist Yoshitaka Amano. His hand drawn portrait gives Pirouette an identity that stands apart before the music has even arrived in full.
Amano’s involvement also makes this more than a routine album reveal. His work spans illustration, animation and video games, and the collaboration brings that visual world into 2hollis’ next release. For an artist whose imagery has become part of how fans experience his music, the cover feels like a central piece of the rollout.
According to Amano’s official website, the artist saw something familiar in 2hollis’ delicate, sensitive presence: it reminded him of characters he has drawn throughout his career. That connection helped him bring 2hollis into his own visual world for the Pirouette cover.
When Does 2hollis’ New Album Come Out?
Pirouette is set for release on November 11, 2026. The album is listed as a 16 track project, and physical editions are available for preorder through the 2hollis official store, including vinyl and CD versions.
