MGK and Wiz Khalifa Set to Drop “Blog Era Boyz” Mixtape This Friday With New Single “Everything Tatted”

MGK and Wiz Khalifa are officially bringing back early-2010s energy with their upcoming collaborative project Blog Era Boyz, set to release this Friday. The announcement has sparked major buzz across hip-hop communities, especially with the duo also dropping a brand-new single titled “Everything Tatted” ahead of the full project rollout.

“Blog Era Boyz” Release Date Confirmed

The joint mixtape Blog Era Boyz is scheduled to drop this Friday, marking a long-anticipated collaboration between MGK and Wiz Khalifa. The project leans heavily into the nostalgic “blog era” sound and aesthetic that defined much of late-2000s and early-2010s hip-hop culture.

The rollout has been accompanied by teasers and social posts confirming the project’s direction, with both artists leaning into a more laid-back, internet-era vibe that helped shape their early careers.  Just yesterday the duo shared the new project will be dropping this upcoming Friday.

New Single “Everything Tatted” Drops Ahead of Mixtape

Alongside the mixtape announcement, MGK and Wiz Khalifa have released a new single titled “Everything Tatted.” The track serves as the lead single for the project and highlights the duo’s chemistry over a melodic, West Coast-influenced instrumental.

Everything Tatted dropped just ahead of the full mixtape release and sets the tone for what fans can expect from the Blog Era Boyz.  A blend of nostalgic flows, weed-rap influence, and carefree lyrical themes tied to their shared artistic roots.

A Nostalgic Return to the Blog Era

The concept behind the Blog Era Boyz taps into a period when artists like MGK and Wiz Khalifa built massive online followings through mixtapes, blog uploads, and viral music sharing before streaming dominance.

Both artists were heavily associated with that era with Wiz rising through viral mixtapes and early internet buzz, and Kels building his early fanbase through aggressive touring and online mixtape drops

Now, they are revisiting that energy with a modern twist, and they have a really sick website that feels equally nostalgic and exciting.

Before teaming up with Wiz, MGK enlisted Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst for “Fix Ur Face,” which dropped in April and went on to hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.
