Yeat may be the next rapper with a BAPE collaboration on the way.
His Lyfestyle Corp Instagram account shared a photo of a woman wearing an apparent Yeat x BAPE tee, giving fans their first look at the possible project. The image arrives shortly after Playboi Carti teased his own YVL x BAPE pieces, putting two artist led collaborations with the streetwear brand in the spotlight.
Yeat’s BAPE Tease Follows His Nike x ADL Collaboration
A Yeat x BAPE tee would continue a fashion run that was already visible during his ADL rollout. Earlier this year, Yeat partnered with Nike on official ADL album box sets and CDs, bringing the Swoosh into the release of A Dangerous Lyfe / A Dangerous Love.
That partnership built on Yeat’s earlier Nike Air Goadome Twizz boot. Now, the Lyfestyle Corp photo suggests another major streetwear name could become part of his clothing lineup. For the moment, the BAPE tee is only a preview; no release details have been announced.
Playboi Carti Also Teased a YVL x BAPE Collaboration
The timing makes Yeat’s preview especially interesting. Playboi Carti recently showed off what appeared to be a YVL x BAPE camouflage hoodie and matching hat, a teaser The Kitchen covered earlier this month. Release details for Carti’s pieces have yet to be confirmed.
There is no indication that the two projects are connected. Still, seeing Yeat and Carti preview BAPE clothing so close together gives fans of both artists another reason to pay attention to the brand’s next announcements.
