Playboi Carti’s YVL x BAPE Collab Is Here
The wait for Playboi Carti’s YVL x BAPE collab is finally over. After giving fans an early look at the pieces last month, Carti has dropped the collection online, with red and purple camo hoodies and matching fitted hats now listed on 0verlytrim.com.
He also put his ComplexCon merch on the site, so there is more to browse if you missed the weekend in Los Angeles. But the BAPE pieces come with the biggest price tags: $549 for a zip hoodie and $165 for a fitted.
BAPE Camo Meets Young Vamp Life
The Kitchen first covered the collaboration when Carti previewed it, and the release sticks with what caught our attention then: BAPE’s signature camouflage paired with his YVL branding.
The hoodies come in red and purple, both with white YVL lettering across the chest and a zipper running through the middle. Matching fitted hats carry the same camo, with a white YVL monogram on the front.
BAPE camo already has a look of its own, and the YVL logos are prominent enough to make this feel like Carti’s drop. Fans who liked the pieces when he wore them can now get a closer look at both colorways.

Carti Also Dropped His ComplexCon Merch
Carti’s website has a wider selection of YVL pieces from ComplexCon, too.
The Graffiti and Polka Dot hoodies are listed at $150 each, while the Crystal Logo tees come in black, red, and white for $100. There is also a Crystal Logo Zip Hoodie at $150.
The drop goes beyond hoodies and tees. Monogram and Young Vamp Life jeans are priced at $300, with leopard, snow camo, green camo, and pentagram polos listed at $90. A Jersey Drawstring Bag, bandanas, and rolling trays round out the selection.
For fans who could not make it to ComplexCon, the online release gives them a chance to shop the merch without being on the convention floor.
