The Kitchen Links With Hitechdony at Calli’s Smoke Sesh
There’s talent brewing in Orlando’s underground music scene, and we want to give you a closer look at the people behind it. On August 22, The Kitchen pulled up to Calli’s Smoke Sesh, hosted by @youngcallimusic, where we caught up with Orlando rapper Hitechdony of CSMB.
The event brought together a number of underground acts, including artists from Atlanta. For us, it was an opportunity to catch performances, meet the artists, and put a spotlight on a collective building right here in Orlando.
How Lucki’s Freewave 3 Inspired Hitechdony to Start Rapping
When we asked Hitechdony what album changed his life, he named Lucki’s Freewave 3. He first heard the tape at 16, and it inspired him to start rapping and pursue music himself. For Hitechdony, that project helped turn being a listener into wanting to make something of his own. It was a full circle moment to see him perform and channel that inspiration on stage.
Watch Our Hitechdony Interview
We caught up with Hitechdony to ask him about his music and influences. Alongside the conversation, the video features a short clip of his performance before closing out with the CSMB crew.
That was something we wanted to include. An interview introduces you to the person, but seeing them perform gives you another reason to check out their music. Bringing the crew into the cut also gives viewers a look at the people around him.

Who Is CSMB?
CSMB is an Orlando rap collective featuring Hitechdony, 300soulja, CSMB Fo, CSMB Mafi, and Zordxn. yung renzo also appears in our video.
If this is your first time hearing these names, consider this an introduction. Our visit to Calli’s Smoke Sesh gave us a chance to connect with the crew and share a piece of the local scene with The Kitchen’s audience.
You can find Hitechdony on Instagram at hitechdonny. Check out his music and get familiar with the artists featured in the video.
Putting a Spotlight on Orlando’s Underground
Local shows like Calli’s Smoke Sesh give us a chance to see what’s happening in Orlando firsthand. With underground acts from the city and artists coming down from Atlanta, there was plenty to tap into beyond our interview.
We want those artists to have a place in The Kitchen’s coverage. Getting out to shows, asking questions, and catching performances is how we find people we want to introduce to our audience. Hitechdony and CSMB are part of that.
