Yeat Opens the Vault on Luh Leakyz Vol. 1
Yeat’s Luh Leakyz Vol. 1 is officially here. Released Friday, October 23, the 14 track collection brings together rarities, loose tracks and fan favorites from different stretches of his career, with Summrs joining him on “Countup.”
For an artist whose snippets and unreleased songs have taken on lives of their own online, a collection like this has a clear audience. Sometimes the song fans keep coming back to is the one that never made the album. Luh Leakyz Vol. 1 gives that side of Yeat’s catalog its own space.
From Fortnite to the Full Tape
The release also connects directly to Yeat’s recent Fortnite collaboration, bringing the music and the in game collection into the same rollout.
“Lil Krazy,” “Time Passëd,” “MARCHING” and “HeliMAn” are among the songs linking the tape to the Fortnite crossover. Fans who encountered the music through the game can now find those tracks together on the project.
The collection brought past and present versions of Yeat into Fortnite through character skins, alongside a Yeat Bell pickaxe, two bell back blings and exclusive emotes. The details pull straight from the world fans already associate with him: bells, Tonka references and the one-finger “Aura Transfer” handshake.
That makes Luh Leakyz Vol. 1 a fitting companion to the collaboration. Both reach across different versions of Yeat, giving longtime listeners familiar references while offering newer fans somewhere to start digging.
Another Release Following ‘Cocoon’
The tape follows September’s Cocoon, keeping new music coming while Yeat’s Fortnite crossover puts another spotlight on his catalog.
There is room for both sides of that rollout. Fortnite brings the skins, emotes and spectacle. An archive collection gives listeners something to spend time with once they leave the game.
And with “Vol. 1” in the title, the obvious question is what else could eventually come out of the vault. For now, fans have 14 tracks to work through.
