Young Thug’s ‘Slime Language 3’ Includes 41 Tracks and Major Features
Young Thug and Young Stoner Life (YSL) have officially released Slime Language 3, expanding the YSL compilation series with an ambitious 41 track double album.
Released today on August 28, the project is divided into two sides and brings together established stars, emerging YSL talent and frequent Young Thug collaborators. Guest appearances across the album include Travis Scott, Future, Lil Baby, Yeat, Quavo, Trippie Redd, Mariah the Scientist and Diamond*, among others.
The album arrived several hours later than its anticipated midnight release. As fans waited for the project to appear on streaming platforms, Young Thug acknowledged that last minute adjustments were being made and apologized for the delay. Slime Language 3 ultimately surfaced later in the day with significantly more music than initially expected.
‘Slime Language 3’ Features 41 Tracks Across Two Sides
Rather than structuring Slime Language 3 as a conventional Young Thug solo album, the Atlanta artist uses the project to spotlight the larger Young Stoner Life universe.
Its 41 songs are split between Side A and Side B, giving the compilation space to feature both recognizable collaborators and newer artists associated with the YSL movement. Young Thug remains a central presence throughout the album, but the project’s size and rotating lineup make it a full-scale label showcase.
One of its most attention-grabbing collaborations is “Eaters,” which brings Young Thug together with Travis Scott, Future, Yeat and Tezzus on the same record. The packed lineup captures the compilation’s combination of mainstream star power and developing talent.
Other songs feature appearances from Lil Baby, Quavo, Trippie Redd and Mariah the Scientist, while artists including Diamond*, 1300SAINT, iyrus and Pz’ receive placement alongside some of rap’s biggest names.
Young Thug Continues the YSL Compilation Series
Slime Language 3 arrives eight years after the original Slime Language, which was released in August 2018 as the first collaborative compilation from Young Thug and YSL Records.
That album helped spotlight members and affiliates of the label while featuring artists such as Gunna, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Duke, Karlae and Jacquees. Its sequel, Slime Language 2, followed in April 2021 and expanded the series with appearances from Drake, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Coi Leray, Kid Cudi and more.
Slime Language 2 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, establishing the compilation series as one of YSL’s most commercially successful platforms.
The third installment continues that collaborative approach on an even larger scale. At 41 tracks, Slime Language 3 is the longest entry in the series and presents a broad look at the current YSL ecosystem.
Slime Language 3 Follows Young Thug’s ‘UY Scuti’
The new compilation follows Young Thug’s 2025 studio album UY Scuti, which marked his first full-length solo release following his return home in October 2024.
While UY Scuti centered on Young Thug’s own comeback and artistic direction, Slime Language 3 shifts the focus toward collaboration. The album places Thug alongside longtime peers, current chart leaders and a new generation of artists connected to the YSL banner.
That contrast makes Slime Language 3 more than another Young Thug release. It serves as an update on the label’s sound, roster and place within Atlanta’s evolving rap scene.
